    Boundaries:
    Then, Now & Later

The Final Phase of the Healing Arc Trilogy

This 8‑week series is not a traditional boundaries group. It is a culturally rooted, lineage‑aware exploration of how boundaries form across time — shaped by the families we come from, the histories we inherit, the cultures we belong to, and the ways we learn to trust (or distrust) our own voice.

We meet every other Thursday evening at 7pm, moving slowly and intentionally through the layers that influence how BIPOC and diaspora communities identify, set, and honor boundaries.

This work is not about learning scripts. It is about understanding what has formed your boundaries or lack thereof — where they began, how they were shaped, and what they need now.

Insurance accepted: BCBS/Aetna/Omnia/UH/Optum participants are responsible for their co-payments. To use insurance participants need to be NY/NJ/PA residents and will need to complete assessment forms.
Reach out to us directly to complete required forms for insurance use.

FYI: Please complete forms prior to the start of the group series.

    The Experience

This intimate group series has been curated to strengthen your self-trust through guided tools, somatic practices and real-time boundary work, rooted in your lived experiences. We will honor, respect and practice empathy as you explore, identify and name how your lineage is reflected in your day to day.

    Psychoeducation

Clear, culturally grounded teaching that explains why boundary challenges exist in BIPOC and diaspora communities — and how to shift them

    Guided Reflection and Narratives learned

Weekly prompts and exercises that help you explore your personal, familial, and cultural patterns impacting your boundary setting.

    Role Playing, Practice and Community

Gentle, supportive role‑playing scenarios that help you practice boundary‑setting in real‑life situations with your community support. You’ll learn language, tone, pacing, and strategies that feel authentic and compassionate.

    Your facilitator
Nancy Andino is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a passion for learning and practicing the different wellness modalities that can best provide wellness support to her community, while still being her authentic and unapologetic self. Boundaries setting has become one of the most discussed subjects due to the cultural nuances, the societal expectations and the emotional and somatic discomforts that setting boundaries comes with. This group has been created to prepare to educate the participant on how to identify, communicate and honor boundaries while remaining respectful and culturally attuned.
